SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Gordian III (A.D. 238-244), issued 242, billon tetradrachm, (13.13 g), obv. laureate bust draped and cuirassed of Gordian III to right, around AYTOK K M ANT **GORD*IANOC CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to left, wreath in beak, between legs crescent over ram running to left, around **DHMARC E X UPATOB*, (S.3779, BMC 501, [p.211], SNG Von Post 618, Prieur 295 [69 noted]). Off centred reverse, nearly very fine and scarce.
